I believe the reason you like this more than Madness is
1) more attention to plot
2) slower paced action and story
3) characters actually have speaking roles

I suppose maybe I can agree with you that Madness is getting really milked out, it's going to be almost 10 years old now and it's still going, but I think the main reason why you believe it's dead is because all of its content is pretty much the same. Kill, violence, gore, combat, madness, etc, I can see why someone would get exhausted by that. All you wanted was a new formula tbh.

((however, shilling for something so similar to madness and then saying madness is dead is kinda dumb, but that's just my opinion, don't mind me))
