Friends and fans,

Honestly… I still can’t quite believe it.

When I found out that my track Atlantis,

had won 1st place in the Music category at Madness Day 2026,

I was genuinely shocked. I really wasn’t expecting this at all.

This year, I thought it would mainly be about taking part

and creating something that I would enjoy making and that you,

the people who follow my work, would enjoy listening to as well.

When I started working on Atlantis,

I wanted to somehow return to my older music from more than 15 years ago.

I wanted to bring back some of the atmosphere and energy that my music had back then,

but at the same time,

I didn’t want to simply create a nostalgic copy of something I had already done.

This time, I wanted the track to have its own story and direction.

I wanted it to gradually move somewhere as you listen,

build an atmosphere, reach its own climax,

and finally have a clear ending that brings the whole story to a close.

And that’s what makes the result, and your reactions to it, even more special to me.

During the production,

I actually created several sections that ultimately didn’t make it into the final version.

So I decided to share one of those cut sections and add it to the track description.

I’ll be adding it sometime today,

so if you enjoyed Atlantis and you’re curious about how it could have sounded,

definitely give it a listen.

And that’s not all.

I’ll also be adding a demo version of the track from about two months ago,

so you’ll be able to hear where the track started

and how much it changed during the production process.

Maybe then you can decide for yourselves whether the cut section should have been part of the final version…

or whether it simply would have been too much for one track. 😄

And most importantly... a huge thank you to all of you who listen to my music,

support it, share it, and keep coming back to it.

Without you, all of these competitions and releasing new music simply wouldn’t mean nearly as much to me.

And one more huge thank you goes to the Madness Day organizers for giving me the opportunity to take part again this year, and especially for allowing me to once again be among the winners.

It’s a huge honor for me to be part of this competition,

and I’m even more grateful that this time it was Atlantis that managed to connect with so many people.
