@francoon I think the ''????'' may be Ryder's father, who is shown in Ryder Revenge as the Tech Warrior.

@SeinDark my hypothesis is they are the scientists that tried to cure a disease that menaced to end the world in Ryder Revenge. The Auditor brought this disease upon the Savior to kill him in Inundation.
If said hypothesis is right you are also right by choosing the first option. Each of them dies through the series. You can watch it if you want to see their deaths.
